Do you speak French?/ Parlez-vous français?

Who doesn't know what a "baguette" or a "croissant" is? Or hasn't heard "la musique" of Edith Piaff or Charles Aznavour? Who hasn't dreamt of a "dîner en amoureux" on a "bateau-mouche" sailing smoothly on the Seine, gazing at the lighted Tour Eiffel and whispering "Je t'aime!"?

Everybody, or at least most of us, has heard about France and the French language, the "language of love", as they call it.

French is one of the great languages of the world. Besides being spoken in France, it is one of the languages of Belgium, Switzerland and Canada. It is the official language of Haiti, 15 African countries and various French dependencies such as Saint Pierre et Miquelon, Guadeloupe and Martinique. French is the mother tongue of more than 75 million people and millions more know it as a second language. It is one of the Romance languages, decended from Latin.

At Pasadena Language Center we offer interactive French language classes for all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Sessions are 8 weeks long and classes meet once a week for one and half hours. We also offer intensive and immersion classes.
